Opera Mini 5 Native version for Windows Mobile released
Opera just launched Native version of famous Opera Mini 5 browser i.e. beta 2 for Windows Mobile platform. This browser software will support on Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6 based devices.
Windows Mobile users needed Java support up till now, but that is no more. While Opera Mini traditionally requires Java, new WinMo version does not, which means that Opera Mini will work on any Windows Mobile device.
As Java-based version, Opera Mini 5 beta 2 for Windows Mobile platform delivers same rich features like tabbed browsing, password manager, speed-dial, bookmarks etc.
The main advantage of Opera Mini 5 beta 2 is it compresses data traffic by up to 90 percent which results faster zippier and improved page-loading and lower browsing cost.
Vice President of Opera Software, Dag Olav Norem said, "Windows Mobile deserves a mobile browser that looks better, handles better and delivers better than the default browser. Even though Opera has 50 million satisfied Opera Mini users, we always seek ways to improve our browser for each and every mobile phone user out there. Now, we are pleased to offer the world's most popular mobile Web browser as a native Windows Mobile application."
